19 April 2017 year at the department Milk technologies, fats and perfumery and cosmetic products a joint curatorial hour was held "Easter bells are ringing" with the participation of guests from the Odesa People's Church under the leadership of the curator of the TM-34 group Tetyana Valentynivna Makovska.

Invited lecturer - Serdychenko Denys Petrovych began his story with the history of the Easter holiday and the explanation of the etymology of this word, which means “to pass past". It turns out, the last. with 10 executions of the Egyptians was the killing of all first-born children and animals in Jewish families. And it was possible to turn the family away from the arrival of the destroying angel only by stabbing in 14 lamb in the month of Nisan and anoint the doorposts with its blood. The family then ate the meat on Easter night, sharing surpluses with neighbors. Those present listened with interest to how the Jewish Passover differs from the Christian Passover and traced together with the speaker the origin and symbolism of traditions, when in the role of a lamb forJesus Christ has already bowed, What blood was shed for people and the "robber angel" is now passing by, as by his blood, according to the Bible, "anointed doors of the human heart"..

Denys Petrovych reminded the listeners about that, how the historical reconstruction took place 15 April on the street. Deribasivska, where the last hours of Jesus Christ's life were recreated – dinner with students, prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, the arrest of Jesus Christ, his trial and the abuse of the soldiers. Roman Medyanyk, who was present at the meeting, took part in this reconstruction and acted as the Centurion. We also learned the story about the first Roman, who converted to Christianity.

After describing the chronology of the events of Jesus' death and telling about the history of the holiday, we learned, that the Decree of the President of Ukraine on commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation was issued. And again plunged into the history of religion, differences of the three branches of Christianity, ideas of reformation, proclaimed by Martin Luther in 1054 year, and learned how the Gospel came to the territory of Odesa – in Sarat and in Tatarbunary and othersa story about the first Bessarabian settlers.

The guests' authentic costumes were not left without attention. Verbytsky Kostiantyn presented a European costume of the 16th century, the set of which consisted of a headdress – beret, linen shirt, woolen jacket – doublet, pants and shoes, hand-stitched from genuine leather based on archaeological findings. Special attention of those present was directed to the sword, which was an integral part of the historical image.

The coppersmith Roman presented the everyday costume of a poor nobleman of the beginning of the 17th century, which consisted of a robe made of white undyed cloth with a woolen cord and bronze buttons, black cloth pants, leather shoes, belt of woven wool, hats felt from wool (donkey) and a leather bag.

Tupikov Pavlo preswore a costume of the beginning of the 19th century, which consisted of a cylinder, linen tie (neck scarf), woolen vest, tailcoat, trousers and linen shoes, handmade leather boots.

Summing up, Denys Petrovych reminded, that “each of us – priest at work", a means this, that regardless of religion, which you profess or not, everyone's appeal to inner conscience and morality ensure the fulfillment of civil, family and simply human debt.

The audience's interest in the raised topic was confirmed by many questions, that arose in the boys: about Calvinism and Stundists, about the peculiarities of the Armenian church, on the participation of youth in the work of Odessa religious organizations, about the role of religion in strengthening marriage. They received answers to all questions in the process of live communication over a cup of tea, which ended the event.

At the end, those present were invited to take part in an interesting tour of the ancient places of the Odesa region with the participation of the lecturer-historian Volodymyr Pivtorak and members of the group of reenactors.
