Milk plays a big role in every person's life. It is not for nothing that it is called a health drink. Today, thanks to new technologies, the quality of dairy products improves, their taste and nutritional properties increase, the assortment is distributed, and as a result, the demand for qualified specialists in the dairy industry is growing.

Food technologists have always been in high demand on the labor market. Therefore, it is very difficult to enter a technological specialty. The educational process is similar to studying in other technological specialties. A special training cycle forms technological engineer. A technologist studies the theoretical foundations of technological processes, methods of production of products, technological equipment for the production of products, as well as trends and directions for further improvement of production.

12Objects of professional activity there are graduates: composition and properties of milk and dairy products, fats and fat substitutes, perfumery and cosmetic products; technological, chemical, biochemical, physical and microbiological processes, methods of control and management of these processes; technical equipment; regulatory and technical documentation, standardization and certification systems, methods and means of testing and quality control of raw materials and finished products.

Future graduates of milk technologists must undergo an internship at milk processing enterprises. Graduates of fat technologists undergo internship at oil-fat and oil-extraction enterprises of Ukraine.zmgk_combinats2_

Students, as technologist assistants, get to know the intricacies of production, learn to observe and control production processes. Nowadays, there is a very strong demand from Europe for technological engineers of the dairy industry, as the dairy industry is developing in full swing in Europe, they lack dairy industry specialists.13

The profession of a technologist requires not only a theoretical base, and a creative vein. A specialist in this field must be unique in his own way, and universal – such conditions are dictated to him by the modern economy. Young specialists can feel all its "charm" upon starting work – first of all, considerable physical endurance is required of them. A technologist's working day is often not limited to eight hours – I would like through those, which cannot be known in advance, what problems and malfunctions will occur in the production process. Therefore, a milk technologist is a very responsible profession.
